From Bali to Flores, new Indonesian facets
Our new one month-long visa takes us to the famous island of Bali. Audrey came here nine years ago and had an excellent memory of it. So we’re going to taste Balinese culture for a dozen days, and it should be something different from what Indonesia has been offering for a month.
Culture shock in Sulawesi
We originally wanted to spend the end of Ramadan, Idul Fitri, on Bali not to suffer from the transportation and accommodation reservations issues. Bali being mostly Hindu, it would have been quiet. But guess why, Ben has searched and found a cheap flight ticket from Banuywangi (our current city close to the Ijen Volcano) to Sulawesi, Makassar.
