Mexico, our last destination during this world tour, have charmed us with its joyous and warm population, its cenotes, its colorful colonial cities and its temples nestled in a green jungle. Here are the last favorites of the chickens, and to illustrate this, a video of our Mexican adventures, aïe aïe aïe!
South Mexico, the Chiapas stage
It had been a long time, perhaps too long, that we did not travel by bus at night. It seems obvious that we are missing it. So here we go for a crossing of the Yucatán Peninsula to the south of Mexico, the state of Chiapas.
The Yucatán peninsula, first steps in the land of the sombrero
And here are the chickens in the northern hemisphere, in Mexico, after more than five months spent on the southern half of the globe. Said like that it sounds like “yeah, well they travel everywhere, we know, we envy them, we would like to be them, they are great, I have a poster of them in my room… so what?”. And then the northern hemisphere in November is synonymous with a winter approaching my little lady (#winteriscoming).
Bolivia – approved by the chickens
Bolivia is certainly one of the chickens’ favorite! A change of scenery, landscapes out of the ordinary, beautiful encounters! Everything has been gathered so that this stage remains engraved in our memories of gallinaceous!
To allow you to live a piece of our experience, here is the best of video that we have concocted with love! And of course some chick tips! Good viewing and good reading to all.
From the cable car to the caimans, the chickens are having a blast in Bolivia
After ten days of adventures in the south of the country, the chickens are attacking some of the wonders of northern Bolivia. Starting with the largest city in the country, La Paz, also seat of the government. We will then act as adventurers on the edge of the jungle.
Get on your lama, let’s go to Bolivia
After more than a month spent in Argentina, with its ups and downs, we were eager to discover this country that everyone considers as their South American favorite. Bolivia has a very rich culture, still well established (the country is officially called “Plurinational State of Bolivia”) and also diverse very preserved landscapes. It is quite logical that when drawing our itinerary and choosing our two stages on this continent, Bolivia has imposed itself. Come on, we turn the page on all our little worries and we are reconciled with the Latin!
Argentina – approved by the chickens
Despite all our streaks of bad luck here, looking back we realize that we gathered a lot of addresses. It must be said that Argentina has allowed us to find a kitchen often very close to what is practiced in France, and at a very modest price (financial crisis helping). And of course, all these beautiful landscapes…
Argentinian desert, you want some cactus? Here they are!
After nearly three weeks in Argentina, the chickens are preparing to make two loops quite famous in the provinces of Salta and Jujuy. It’s ancient time when the chickens with a minimalist backpacks rushed off the coast on a scooter. In Argentina, it is mainly by a rental car that everything is done to discover these desertic beautiful landscapes.
Delights and disappointments, the Argentine welcome
After six months in Asia and more than a month in Polynesia, it is Latin America’s turn to be on our magnificent list of incredible destinations. Easter Island is Chilean and served as a transition between two worlds. But the real South American adventure begins in Argentina and more precisely in Buenos Aires for the chickens.
Easter Island – approved by the chickens
Over five days and in view of the limited number of cities (only one), this article is going to be succinct! But for those who will have the opportunity to visit Easter Island, here are some tips from the travelling chickens.
