Despite all our streaks of bad luck here, looking back we realize that we gathered a lot of addresses. It must be said that Argentina has allowed us to find a kitchen often very close to what is practiced in France, and at a very modest price (financial crisis helping). And of course, all these beautiful landscapes… Come on, we give you everything we liked, but it will be just after a short video of our adventures:
Buenos Aires
- Bar de Cao – to enjoy a superb plate of “picadas” or a delicious mondongo
- Restaurant El Refuerzo – a small Argentinian address for tasty dishes of the day at a sweet price
- San Telmo district – typical Buenos Aires
- Maldita Milonga – one of the many milongas of Buenos Aires to offer courses and tango shows with professional musicians and dancers
Mendoza
- Hostel Lao – for the very attractive prices of this cozy hostel with a nice garden and everything you need to feel at home
- Free walking tour – to know everything about the city, both yesterday and today
- Restaurant El Asadito – to eat a beautiful parillada in a pretty well known place by the locals
- Lagarde Vineyards – for the superb setting of this winery and the excellent tasting offered there
- Baccus Biking – a professional bike rental, good explanations despite a small disappointment about the beauty of the landscape, but that they can not do anything about it
- Restaurant Fuente y Fonda – for a beautiful local address serving traditional Argentinian cuisine. Generous portions, nice service and pleasant bohemian surroundings
- Restaurant Patrona – for the setting, the service and the menu of this beautiful and unpretentious bistro, perfect for a lunch break
Region of Mendoza and San Juan
- Natural Park of Aconcagua – for this wonderful 3h hike (and ultra simple) to admire the highest peak in the world behind the monsters of the Himalayas
- Ischigualasto Nature Park – to feel like Neil Armstrong in the middle of these lunar landscapes
- Hostel de campo Don Lisandro in Barreal – for the nice rooms of this very cute ranch
Salta
- Restaurant Jovi Dos – more than generous and delicious portions, an endless wine list, and impeccable service, a brasserie as we like them
- Restaurant La Tacita – for the good empanadas and humitas of this small local address
Cachi
- Hostel Viracocha – for this hostel more than affordable with colorful walls and neat decoration, a big yes!

Tilcara
- Hostel Casa Colores – for the superb welcoming of Mathias and this pretty inn on the heights of Tilcara
- Restaurant El Nuevo Progreso 1917 – a detail oriented and succulent cuisine in an arty setting to be tested absolutely (it’s not every day that you draw the bill!)

- Mirador Hornocal – a breathtaking view of an extraordinary landscape not to be missed. It is possible to get there by its own means with a little patience despite the contraindications of 4×4 taxis
- Restaurant Pachamanka – for its nice patio and a simple but subtle cuisine
- Restaurant Aisito – for well-cooked and tasty dishes in a cozy and neat atmosphere
