Philippines – Approved by the chickens

Our stay in the Philippines could be considered as a vacation on vacation! We were able to enjoy the beauty of this archipelago for a month and we deliver you the Philippine’s favorites of the chickens!

Banaue

  • The Batad Ricefields – for one of the most beautiful and spectacular landscapes we have ever seen during this world tour
  • Cristina’s Main Village Inn and Restaurant – for this homestay literally nestled in the heart of Batad rice fields. A breathtaking show as soon as you wake up. Special mention for pitas and especially for Jerome, the guide more than pampering and always smiling

Cebu

  • Moalboal snorkeling spot – to watch turtles and sardine schooling for sure!
  • The French coffee shop – for the great breakfast we serve and the kindness of the owner

Bohol

  • Pangas falls – for the tranquility of these small waterfalls offering a beautiful bathing environment
  • Snorkeling on the island of Pamilacan – for some serious snorkeling that you are not ready to forget

Siquijor

  • Baha bar – for this place certainly well known from tourists but that remains no less enjoyable for a drink or eat while listening to really good live music
  • Paliton beach – for this crystal-clear beach adored by locals
  • Roch cuisine – for this ephemeral roadside restaurant on the San Juan “bridge”, serving quality food at very reasonable prices. Ask around to find it!
  • Snorkeling at the Tubod marine sanctuary at Coco Grove Resort’s beach – for an observation of the extraordinary Philippine seabed
  • Snorkeling at the Tulapos marine sanctuary – to observe barracudas schooling and black tip sharks
  • Marco Polo pizza – to believe you’re in Italy enjoying pasta and pizza
  • Hotel and restaurant U story – to stay or just have a drink in this beautiful paradise and the elaborate cuisine served there. Special mention for pancakes!
  • Luca Loko – for the “fruit bowls”, the champion’s breakfast
