Here is our provisional itinerary. It will be corrected and modified during our journey so that you can follow us at best.
How did we draw it?
Very soon we excluded cold countries; Canadian friends, Scandinavian and dear Santa Claus, it will not be for 2018, the motto of this year will be sun!
Each of us having already traveled a little, we then removed from the list the places already visited separately. The idea was to discover together unknown countries.
Certainly we had Colmar, and Cergy-Pontoise but also and especially Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Latin America.
Friends of Cergy-Pontoise it will not be for 2018 either!
But where do the chickens fly?
Our choices ended up on:
- Southeast Asia first of all because of our strong attraction for this region of the world, its climate, the total change of scenery that it offers to Europeans that we are, a rich and varied gastronomy. But also for its small budget, because yes the budget still influences the way you travel!
- Polynesia & Easter Island because it’s a mutual dream and this trip is the perfect opportunity to make it happen!
- Latin America, which was not obvious choice at first, but for which, after reading testimonies, and research presented itself as an essential step of our journey.
As you can see, it will be important to follow the sun and summer time, in the shade of coconut trees, never far from a beach where you can dabble.
In summary, here is a map retracing our itinerary, with the approximate dates of each step. We will give ourselves the freedom to adapt our trip if we feel like it!
