Yangon

- The water festival in mid-April, not to be missed under any circumstances in the streets adjacent to the palace

Kalaw
- Bnb Thitaw Lay House for this haven of peace on the heights of Kalaw and its delicious banana bread
- Tat nay winn tea house for this little address behind the Kalaw market serving Indian specialities
- Red house restaurant to enjoy wood oven pizzas if you miss Europe
Lac Inle
- Restaurant Paw Paw in Nyaung Shwe to enjoy delicious dishes made with local seasonal products. And especially for the work that the owner Zizi tries to lead by helping young single mothers in the region. PS: go see her site… validated and especially made by chickens!
- Inthar lodge homestay to live for a few days at the rhythm of the Inle lake in the heart of a village on stilts within a family extremely welcoming. And you will be delighted every night without a doubt!
